MEG SHARP
• Executive Director of Personal Training, Cambridge Group of Clubs

Meg Sharp joined the Cambridge Group of Clubs in 1998 as a personal trainer and fitness instructor at the MAA in Montreal. Upon completion of her Kinesiology degree at McGill University, Meg moved to Toronto to tackle a Masters in Exercise Science at The University of Toronto. Constantly looking for ways to bridge the gap between research and practice, Meg was thrilled to have the opportunity to integrate her research with both the staff and members at The Toronto Athletic Club. Upon completion of her Masters in January 2007, she was offered the position of Personal Training Director at the TAC and shortly thereafter took on the role of Executive Director for the CGOC.

After more than 20 years working in the health and fitness industry, Meg continues to grapple with the question of why so many people, despite their best intentions, struggle to maintain a physically active lifestyle. She has been integral in ensuring none of our clubs fall prey to the revolving door of members joining and dropping which has become so common at many fitness facilities across North America. Meg, alongside an amazing team of Directors and Trainers, works tirelessly to ensure the clubs offer our members the most effective, personalized and remarkable exercise experience possible. Together they are improving the physical and mental well-being of North Americans one body at a time.
